best way to remove decals?

i got some SCA stickers on my sills i want to remove.

the plastic seems quite brittle?

i start to peel it and it feels like the sticker is about to snap off?

hair dryer? or paint gun? ( i have both )

They will be easy enough once you have enough heat into them. You can use boiling water but that is messy for obvious reasons. I'll be doing mine this week too if you want to wait and see what I mean.

Shouldn't be funny but it is when you know you're alright...........stick with the hairdryer

yes H dryer is the best if your at home, if not and near a body shop, they have special rubber wheels that spin and rip the stickers off without damaging the any thing else.

i use very hot water and do a little at a time. If it gets to cold it might take paint of.

I know, but the cars up and running again so I've finally got to the stage I can laugh about it now :)

If you want to remove them without damaging the bodywork, hair dryer works well. If you want to do it faster but gamble on a 'bit' of damage to the bodywork, land rover defender... ;)
