Ok i wanna get rid of some of the little swirl marks on bits of the car , being black you can see them easy when the sun shines on it , so i got a new buffing polishing machine , i'm just not sure what polish to use to get rid of the little marks , does any body have an idea :?

Save a PM
Firstly what polishing machine have you got? and what experience have you got with it?
Sorry but these will dictate what polish would be best for your needs

As Shooter said... orbital or rotary polisher mate..
If by hand... you will not remove the swirls but you could aways use a polish that contains fillers.
Personally i have a black car and like to use Poorboys polish with carauba.
Meguiars NXT tech wax is quite good if you just want a quick one step application. Cheap, easy to use and smells nice. Technically not a wax.. more of a polish that contains fillers and some sealnats.
Not great durability though

My preference is a Porter Cable polisher and Meguiars 3 stage kit, includes paint cleaner, polish and carnauba. Takes ages but really comes up well !

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I was bought one of those a while ago and about the only thing its good for is breaking down cellulite on my Mrs arse (if she had any of course

)
I would say give it a go somewhere discrete, but unless you are very careful you'll only cause more marks. These things are fine for someone who can't be arsed to do it properly but if you can't be arsed, you wouldn't have a car like yours :thumb:
