When or if you decide to change the Cam timing belt, never assume you have been given the right timing belt. As I found out changing one on a freelander the other day. It took hours to fit the dam thing and lots of swearing until we found out it was the wrong one. Bollocks! Still happy though having changed a timing belt which I`ve never done before.

always worth thinking twice and doing once. Should live by my thoughts. Runs sweet now though with a new head gasket and timing belt. I`d recommend to anyone to give big jobs like that a go, if you have a serviing manual about. Garage quoted my mate

Quite a saving, but I bet you're knuckles are bleeding .

I had a similar experience with some braided hoses from SCA,3 times they got it wrong....and i give them an original to copy aswell :roll:

surely not for a evo hose,good ridge sell complete kit

I had all that trouble with my clutch recently Terry.
Assumed i had the right one and it cost me big time!
