That piece of glass you look through everytime you drive your car, theres more to it than you think. In the next few weeks I am going to do a write up on windscreens and their fitment etc and would like you to share your experience's and ask questions which I will try to answer for you. Please post your questions on this thread. :D

Great idea :thumb:

Ok, I'll get the ball rolling. Is it possible to order or buy the replacement trims for R32 GTR window surrounds from anyone other than Nissan in the UK? Any idea of the suppliers and prices?

Also, what is the maximum legal depth of a 'sunstrip'?

Thanks :)

If the laminate is damaged then no, although depending where on the screen it is you could have it repaired just to stop it spreading. Does the chip look white from inside your car??

I have lots of small stone chips on the front of my screen from a recent trackday, they are not chips which have cracked the screen just marked the surafce.
I hear there is some sort of cutting compound available to get rid of them, do you know if it is any good mate?

Also do you personally do the chip repairs with the laquer as i need 1 chip repaired please?

Thanks.
