I too have been looking at these.. i was going to get myself an Archos to record directly on to.. any thoughts?

that initially looks good, but they are only 15 frames per second. you really want 25 or 30 for smooth playback. viewing pleasure suffers when the frame rate is so low
i feel an digicamcorder with external bulletcam and microphone is the way to go

Have you got any examples Andy as this sounds like the sort of thing I may be interested in myself. After watching some of the Newera DVD's it has made me think a little more about the use of them. It would be nice to get some footage of all of the events that 'we' do next year and do a proper DVD compilation of our own including Track, drag and drift events. Get someone like Ben to edit it all up and Bob's your Mothers Brother

Yeh, been keen to pull together a Bigpower video - I've been quietly collecting footage from different meets - really need to wait to summer though.

Those ones from dogcam are able to plug into a splitter box so you can record from 3 or so cams at the same time on one screen ie front view, interior view and speedo view etc.
Looks damm trick if you ask me
