Readings were in 4th for Stuarts and 5th for mine

Another interesting graph... this time combined. It is a bit fuzzy cos I had to resize bits and stretch it cos they used different scales.

Interesting - would the output of the Skyline been as much in 5th? .. thus a top speed of maybe 170 - 175.

The graphs would be identical in 4th and 5th - they just pick the one that is closest to 1:1 drive for the purposes of consistency i think.

No idea on top speed though but i guess it would be around that fig for stu's.

I like the comparison up to 5500 rpm where the power of stu's catches up with mine. :-D

Class .. it's funny I've got so used to have 7000 RPM - where as my old cars that was the redline.

I have a friend who claims ... he has done 185 in a Stage 1 R32 ... I am still sceptical though ... and of course that was on a very long runway.

Indicated 185 maybe. Never an actual 185, not in a month of Sundays.

Clive's roller's do throw up some weird results sometimes......this is JC's first dyno graph earlier this year before he sorted the fueling out, hope he doesn't mind me posting it, but note the torque figure :o doesn't seem likely but in Clive's defence he did say that he wouldn't of thought the torque figure was correct but he did say the 403 BHP/ 4043 1/min (135MPH) was.

I don't know what the gearing is like on a R32 but 102 MPH @ 7044 RPM seems more in line with third gear :?

JC's graph done in 4th gear....got the vid.

What a bizarre set of figures!

I must admit I take this and every dyno with a pinch of salt. I was only interested in establishing a base figure so when I turn it into a bi-engined straight twelve with quad turbos I have something to compare it too

The gearing of the first four gears is pretty short really. I seem to remember changing from fourth to fifth when nearing the quarter mile line and my best terminal is 108mph, so it may not be that far out. Fifth is the starship enterprise gear for me :)
