How long should your pads be lasting?

i would be intrested in finding a replacement pad as well, only problem is ive got a box full of them to go through or get rid off :roll:
I miss my scooby :(

James - your pads don'last as you drive a 380 BHP at the wheels Civic on standard calipers !!! ... and brake from 140 at the last turn marker .... before wrenching your gear stick out of it's mounts :-D

that's why your pads failing.

Cheers Mike. I have newage Brembos on the rear with DS2500. They seem OK or at least, haven't caused any problem. Discs are shiney, so they're working and not much dust so not working too hard :)

Duncan,
The performance friction pads give the same initial bite and dont fade on the track but give 15,000 more miles than the DS2500's?
If this is the case then i will be getting a set of them!?
Do they give off as much dust as the 2500's?

its not the amount of dust the 2500`s give off that cracks me up its getting the dust off thats the hard part, bloody stuff seems welded to my alloys

Yes me as well mate, its ok if you clean them immediately after they are dusty but leave them and it is hassle to get the dust off.

that's why my alloys need refurbing .. the brake dust is immovable !!!!
