You'd be surprised at how many people own fast cars and don't drive them to anywhere near the limitations...
I knew a guy who owned one of the first Ford Probe V6's when it was brand new - he would always go on about how much power it had and what awesome figures it produced. He never took it over 3000RPM and drove it like my Nan! He was so scared to do any damage even though I tried to convince him that it would be totally fine.....
