Those blanking plates are sat in the unit so give Stu a PM and he may be able to sort you out with them Ian.

I have been puzzling my brain with your problem but cant really come up with anything constructive to add at this point mate.

Are you sure there is not a problem with your boost controller?

The only thing i can think of is the boost controller has gone wrong and is stuck open so it will run on the actuaters only.

Does sound like that Matt - Ian mine only made 0.6 with a 0.7 peak when the boost controller the car came with went tits up - if you still suspect the afms for any reason - I have a working pair you can try if you get desperate  - if you had a leak serious enough to restrict your boost that much you'd hear it as soon as the boost gauge went above zero.

Well my PFC says I'm max out the AFM so I guess it must be an air leak and the turbo's are trying to reach boost. I'll block off the DV then if it's not them I'll move on to the next thing.

The DV only hold 0.5bar even with a vacuum I'd of thought the springs would be good for more than that?

It does seem like actuaters pressure but the car runs badly at 0.7/0.8 bar so I don't think its the boost controller as there'd be no reason for it to run badly

After Driving when I turn off the engine there is sound thats like airs leaking but I guess that was something to do with engine being turned off :?

Its impossible to hear leaking air when you get on boost as the noise of the exhaust and engine etc

Give your boost controller a big check over mate.

If you had a severe air leak the car would run really jerky all the time it came on boost.

I had problems with my old boost controller which made the car run as rough as a bag of old nuts at 0.7- 0.8 bar. I fitted the blitz cotroller (and Gary tweeked it for me :D) and all is well now. Try to check it if you can.

I know you've checked them - but that's what happened when my plugs were buggered - when you hit high rev's it's just kinda let go, regained, let go ...

still not getting anywhere with this :x

The PFC boost controller has two pipes to it if I remove this what would I have to do with the two pipes? planning on putting the stock valve thing back to rule out boost controller.

Car runs fine off boost, now maxing out AFM 5volt + on the PFC air flow at 0.4 bar boost

cheers
