How long do you guys run scoobys at trackdays?

Last year it took me 2-3 laps to get the RE070's up to a good temp in the first time out which was damp. After that, they were on it at the end of one lap

thanks for that info i had my suspicions something was amiss with the temp gauge not moving :roll:

i am pressuming the thing to do is run a pod where the clock is, with some gauges in. :?:

the reason the factory gauge is overdamped is for the masses otherwise they would have been bringing the cars back under warranty every time they cruised on the m/way.....................

as above if you want an accurate reading then you need an aftermarket set-up

or a PSI3 Monitor which can show several things at once.

I think the general rule of thumb,

Is you can run them until the chocolate melts in the bores - or about a lap and a half of Cadwell !!!!

Seriously though, I wouldnt dream of doing a trackday in a car as notoriously weak as a Subaru without an oil cooler or temp gauge.

Sorry to be down, but its just so easy to break and so hard to save the money to fix.
