And the car isn't running at all! - no revs at all
Come on ben,

Keep up,

this isnt COD you know !!!

:D :D

I have been reliably informed that the AFM wire thing could be it as this can be intermittant rather than just dead like I assumed (wrongly)

No, she's still a garden ornament :).

I've received a replacement Ignition amp, got the grounding kit, just need to order the coilpacks and get new plugs, plus get a price for a nice clean coilpack loom.

To be honest i've not been near the car since I put this thread up.

Ben it may pay you to spend some time with a multimeter checking for continuity before you shell out on the new loom?

You are not alone mate, my car is still in bits. :(

Ian, I know - :) - anyway - you'll be fitting all these bits onto my car - didn't I tell you ...

I'm getting the loom for show - not go - my current one is a bit manky looking.

It may be that you should do a test on the wires within the loom by way of an insulation test and not just purely a continuity test. It could be that it is the insulation that is breaking down and not a fault with the copper/steel wire within. This is very common when high voltages are involved.

A we mega tester would show this up if insulation is breaking down.

By the way, I think this is a coil pack issue as already stated. I guess it could be the cam sensor on the Exhaust cam as well?

Yes i really beleive this is faulty coils as well.
As for the loom wont it be hidden under the plug cover anyway?
