Guys,
Got some heat wrap for my down pipe a while ago and finally getting round to doing it.
Quick question though, in my research I have read that people recommend painting it first before putting the wrap on as when the wrap gets wet it corrodes the steel very very quickly.
Is this an old wives tale or would you recommend doing it first ? The down pipe I have is steel and not stainless steel.
Any thoughts ?
