Something else other than track days

Post by Jon »

First of all, Please excuse the stoopid question...
But I'm looking in a different direction on how to use my car, Trackdays are superb fun but I've alway's hankered after driving on a mixture of surfaces and getting the thing sideways etc but I've absolutely no idea whatsoever of how to go about it.
I've no inclination to compete in any shape or form (or change my car) But would like to just turn up and tit about (sensibly) for a few hours and then go home.
So...

1.Do such places exist?
2.If so, What's the cost?
3.How hard on the car would it be?

Thanks Stu, I did talk to Malx who sent me some Youtube links of the days out at the arena (It looks a whole bunch of fun) But from what I can gather it would probably destroy my gearbox/diff very quickly, So it
