Noise Level

Post by puggsy »

Just got my new engine up and running, but i worried about the noise level, as the old engine was 103db and this one seems louder, any body know where i can get it tested, as i don't want to book a track day and find i can't go out on track due to it being too loud.

I think both Eddie and APT have decibel meters.

Thanks for the info guys, i'll have to wait for a couple of weeks though, as i'm in the middle of the Sahara Desert!, A bit warm as well, 49C the other day. Too hot to sunbath! If it's too loud, i suppose i'll have to get a silenced de-cat. The exhaust is a TSL Fire Storm, don't know if you can buy removable baffles though, i'll have to send them an email. Cheers.
