What grade are you using to sand it?

Many make the mistake of using wet and dry.

I use UPOL Easy1, which is a 'bulk' filler for big jobs and quick sanding ability, i finish off with Dolphin Glaze, which is like a very fine filler which wont pin hole, it also leaves a smoother, less porous finish.

Thanks Gents, was using wet and dry using gradually less aggressive grades.
I'll look into the options mentioned.

Depends what your doing but i start 80 grit then 180, then 320-400 ready for primer. IF your using a 1k primer on the top its best to use the finer stuff as the build wont take up deeper scratches.

Rob, As a little tip try to avoid putting water anywhere near your filler it will act like a sponge and swell and take days or weeks to sink back. You`d be better off using an orbital, then a polyester filler/primer over the top.
