Tip-Tronic gearbox oil

Post by Daniel »

Hi Guys, i have a question here from dad

He as some of you know he has a Gallant estate with a tip-tronic box. Recently its been going into "limp home mode" and stays in 3rd gear until you pull over and turn the engine off. Once turned back on its fine, so anyway he looked the problem up and apparently he needs to change the oil in the gearbox, job done we thought. However being a top-tronic box its not as simple as that, it needs 10 litres of a special grade ATF oil which is near as damn it same viscosity as water and it must not have normal Dexron ATF as it can bugger the changes up. SP-III ATF is what he needs, now the thing is, it costs

If you need something shooting, or a payload to low earth orbit. Just ask.
