This was temps coming through the MAF sensor. I know it's not very accurate and doesn't represent charge air temps through the throttle body but that's what was available and all i had to rely on at the time, and i would assume a reduction in temps passing the MAF will result in a reduction of charge air temps through the throttle body as well.

I totally accept that ambient air temps/conditions/weather can change power levels and drive dramatically from one day to the next, and perhaps even within a few hours, however a difference of 7bhp within a couple of hours on the same day, same weather, same road, etc.. etc... is a bit too much to put solely down to a change of ambients.

I like the Snorkus delete mod because in my experience it works and makes a genuine difference. I recommend it because i've seen and felt the difference not just in my car, but in others as well both before and after the mod.

Unless you've got a few quid ready to spend to really attack intake and charge air temps this is absolutely free. It costs an hour of your free time and is easily and quickly put back to standard if you feel it was a waste of time and made zero difference. Thereafter you have other options open to you but you'll have to spend some money.
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!
