AVCR set up

Post by evildave »

had my avcr set up by gary at apt a couple of weeks back.
set the max to 1.1bar as it was fuelling fine on the rollers although only making 266bhp

noticed tonight, after a little lead footing that it'd peaked at 1.2 bar,

any idea's??? checked through the settings and it's still at 1.1

Cold dense air. It'll over boost slighty. Do you have a knocklink??

it might be the self learning mate

you can knock it back a bit on duty

when you go to screen where stars are on duty highlight stars and push down arrow it will display a number soon as you press it knock it down a couple and try it,should start self learn again

nice one cheers, will give it a go............so the next question is could i have a knackered turbo? 266bhp @1.1bar not so good, i've ordered a hks filter just in case i have similar probs to what andy's been having, and the car was over fuelling slightly which may have been lack of air on intake or just the uprated fuel pump? i've disconnected the boost gauge too incase that was leaking with the crap pipe i had on it.

hi dave, my probs were the air filter completely clogged/choked and inlet pipe where it connected onto the turbo was split........good luck......where did you order your new filter from as i will probably get a new one instead of the std one thats in mine at present......

thanks for that.........the rally was brilliant....you don't appreciate how good they are until you see them driving through the stages in the flesh........the sound through the forests is amazing when they are going through...this was my 6th time and already planning next year......hope you get your car sorted.....
