Took car to APT (excellent help - thanks everyone ) and the turbo (yes it was a VF35) has now gone for rebuild as one of the blades had a burr on it and looked very slightly different to the others.......................plus the pipe which feeds air into the turbo was split so that needs replacing as well ............anyway hope to get the car back Wednesday if the parts are delivered in time so fingers crossed as i want it to go to Rally GB in it and also get the 60+ bhp back that i have lost but APT have said that they hope it should be ready.........................

I have a spare inlet pipe kicking around if you want it Andy

It's just gathering dust here.

good luck getting it sorted mate, i had my AVCR set up friday by Gary (great service!) and my car is down on power, so thinkin i may have similar problems- now checkin ebay for a VF23, only made 266bhp at 1.1bar boost!.

tempted to leave it a while and see what breaks, have been checkin the 2.5 conversion with a td05 and apexi power fc, that'd probably sort the problem
