Coilover v sti suspension - what to do??
I had a feeling this was'nt going to be an easy decision
...trackday use will be limited so that is not the determining factor but a cost effective replacement for the STI shocks is as i don't want to be replacing them every year...would'nt expect the STI shock to have such a short lifespan
but anyway....will have to investigate further but appreciate all the comments...cheers
I cant remember I was too terrified and trying to breathe from the acceleration to be honestgary@apt wrote: ps dunc when you went in mine im sure they were on firm but are you making comment based on the shocks or that its unpleasent to drive to shops??
Andy - it isnt an easy decision - dont rush it.

i have a set of cusco ones on my RA and totally hate them TBH, when cornering at any kind of speed on back roads the back end seems to skip and jump quite a bit, not a nice feeling at all TBH
Coilovers are next of my wish list as well but just weighing up my options just now and not rushing to buy anything either, will probably be AST`s or EXE TC`s though by the looks of it

I miss my scooby
I knew that's what you meant - 800 miles in a near BTCC effect car with twice the acceleration .. lolduncan wrote:I cant remember I was too terrified and trying to breathe from the acceleration to be honestgary@apt wrote: ps dunc when you went in mine im sure they were on firm but are you making comment based on the shocks or that its unpleasent to drive to shops??
