tyres and sizes BMW QUESTION

Hi there looking to buy part owrns for a track day i want to do

not ideal i know but there you go

what size 17" inch tyres are ideal

for example will the 245 40 17 fir on the front or will it rub or do you buys just fit the 225 40 17 on all four corners

I have 255 wide tyres with 20mm spacers each side at the front but then my arches are stretched about as far as possible.

At least 225's all around means that you can rotate the four tyres around to get more wear from them.
