Spongy pedal won't go away????

Is there a specific order on a 328i in which each of the calipers has to be bled??

Perhaps if you're not doing it in the right order you may not be getting all of the air out. Just a shot in the dark as NewAge Impreza's are Front Right/Rear Left/Front Left/Rear Right, in that order, and if you don't do it that way you don't get all the air out.
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!! :rant:

OK, I bled the system some more today but it was still as spongy as before. I then changed the rear pads for some OEM pads and the pedal is a lot better. It seems that the rear pads (whose rivets didn't actually foul the pistons - it was only the front ones) are indeed faulty in some way. Thanks for all the help. I'm just glad it's sorted since the next trackday is on Sunday. Phew!
