a while back i had the mk2 rolling roaded..............
set-up at the time was;
vauxhall c20xe
dellorto 45's
sbd 235 cams
4 branch exhaust manifold & system
slightly flowed head
sbd pocketed pistons
the car made 186bhp at the flywheel but had high intake temps (55deg)
i was hoping to break the 200bhp barrier so next mods have been...............
mbe 967i management running crank sensor and TPS for 3d map
coil & distributor have now been removed for a proper twin spark coil set up running from the ECU
airbox fabricated and direct cold airfeed into filter (should lower them intake temps!)
car is booked in for the 15th August for cam timing, fuel pressure, and 3d ECU map
so............... predicted power people?
i'm hoping 210bhp at the flywheel if i'm lucky
Predict my power?
Predict my power?

ECU has replaced the primitive manta distributor & coil that was originally running off one of the cam verniers, so i'm hoping bigger spark, better timing, and the lower intake temps should help break the 200bhp mark.
like you say the driving should be a lot better with the TPS mapped rather than the 45's being the fuel hungry beasts they are lol.
throttle bodies would have definately given the power but at the moment i'd rather sink some cash into a straight cut box.

Interested in the ignition mapping ecu you have mate
Suz is considering a magajolt system for her manta to do away with the dizzy altogether
How does yours compare with it? What costs etc and how hard is it to map?
Looking good and i am going to guess it will be driveabilty and low end power gains ie lbs rather than hp
Jay
