Now by no means am i saying the wheels will fail, however i have seen a few cases in the USA where guys have had wheels powdercoated and the wheels have developed cracks in them shortly afterwards. One case the wheels failed after just 2 weeks of road use.
This was put down to the fact that the final process of the powdercoat is oven baking. This high temp oven baking was effectively changing the heat treatment that the wheels had already been subjected to from the original manufacturer.
Your call fella but certainly food for thought in my opinion.
