A friend of mine has applied to enter the time attack even though he will probably have the least powerful car there but he has applied simply because this is what he wants to do.......Live the dream
decisions decisions..........
I recon you could build a competitive TA car for a lot less in either Scoob or Evo format. But it would be functional rather than an engineering masterpiece.
You car is lovely though, don't go striping it and cutting bits off just to save 0.2kg. Just my opinion
All the best with what ever you decide

Duncan, Mike's right in his comments, you've just got to look at his times at Donnington with the little power he was running and the crap suspension
at the time. When the Club entrants of this year start upping their power for next years event they've still got to keep it on the tarmac - not an easy task with 350bhp let alone 500.
Drop a set of pistons in your block, add a front mount and a larger turbo and make the most of the much broader, and increased torque spread.
BTW, if you'd have had the ARB's on at Knockhill you'd still be picking out the gravel now
