Toulene is the secret weapon of a turbo car. think back to 80's f1 cars running 1400hp in small displacment motors. Pre mix it in and reap the rewards.

Cant discuss nitro on here !

Nitro tuning is an art that takes years and years just to get a rough idea, it responds totally differently to petrol and those that even have the slightest idea of what they are doing with it have a large amount of melted scrap out back to prove their apprentiship.

My mate who built my dragbike engines used to run a top fuel bike for years and has worked on top fuel cars in the past , he built his own methanol injected dragbike from scratch and most of it including the fuel system is home made, even methanol is hard enough to get your head around , the sheer amount to need to give the engine is staggering.

Having looked at the Ebay website the octane booster comes from some of the claims for a lot of the products they sell are verging on the miraculous.

Not sure if i believe all that Yank hype. It may well all be true fact but a water wetter that reduces temps by 40 degrees seems pretty astounding.

The tape they sell that can fix all sorts of items like hoses, exhausts and other things that can also be used as an electrical tape sems very miraculous stuff too.

I am a bit of a sceptic when it comes to miracle cures.

Demon Tweakes seem to have some excellent cooling components available like a CryoBar to cool the fuel in the pipe as it's fed to the engine or a CO2 spray system for the intercooler. I can totally believe what they do but not the above miracle cures.
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

CO2 sprays do nothing in fact they lose power that is very well documented

Water wetter also does little , the best coolant by far is straight water (a friend studied engine coolants as part of his engineering degree)

Of course an ebay seller and Lucas will "big" up a product thats the business they are in but the fact remains MMT is a known and proven octane booster

As well as myself there is also other anecdotal evidence if you look
