Can anyone shed any light on this modification please?

It is basically a shim to go under your steering rack, to help prevent castor induced bump steer. If it is done properly the shim will be custom made for your car once the alignment technician has the geometry figures from your car.

I understood it to reduce the effects on toe angle whilst cornering. Altering the rack height so minimising the effect of the angle of the track control arm to the hub.

Or that's how it was explained to me at Powerstation.

The sierra is all stripped, needs some new sills, the exhaust sorting and seats and subframes. And something to transport it around!

Thanks for the replys guys, i will see if autotest can do this mod today, i am really looking forward to getting the alignment done today. :grin:
