How do you remove the Front Bumper on a R32GTR?

Post by Mr Windscreen »

Is this just a case of undoing a few bolts?

Depends on how many times it's yanked off and on Darren - first and foremost dig the manual up from the link Ben put on the site - the 10mm bolt positions are noted on there - from memory

starting at the drivers side and ending on the passenger -

top of front wheel arch 1x bolt
push in tab - hidden underneath indicator
bottom spoiler lip - 3x bolts to undertray (maybe more normally)
top of radiator cut out - 5x bolts
top of bumper under grill - 3x pop tabs
push in tab - hidden underneath indicator
top of front wheel arch 1x bolt

That's it I think - there may be more bolts on a pristine example like yours under the front lip so don't take this as gosple - I'm sure that any of the 32 boys will piont it out if I've missed one

You can tell you are back James, Almost every new post on here this morning is written by your fair hand. :D Hope you had a cracking time mate, which it sounds like you did.

I think Marks instructions are pretty acurate as far as I can remember.
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

Thats very funny!!! On form as usual!!

If you get stuck give me a call Darren and i can guide you through it as the set up is very similar to the R33.

First thing to do is take the grill out and you can then see most of the main bolts, then take arch linings out and do the ones in the wheel arch's.
When you put the bolts back dip them in grease to stop them rusting.
