Eating my rears...

Post by sleepyhead »

OK, been about 5 months since i fitted 215/40 R17 Goodyear F1 GS-D3 all round and my rears have reached their wear limit marker. This is just from nomal day to day driving (oh and one track day but that counts as scrubbing then in :P ).

Currently I have setup 1.5 degree neg camber with 10 minutes of toe in on the rear and for the fronts, they are setup for 1 deg neg camber, 6 deg castor and about 3 minutes of toe in.

The fronts are absolutely fine and wearing how I would expect.

Now is it just my driving style or the current alignment setup that's making me eat my rears like there is no tomorrow? Sigh, I can't afford to pay for

that seems a vast amount of toe in at the rear in my opinion :o

Maybe you car needs toe in but I would say it seems a bit weird.
