What ho fellers - anyone got an HKS Knock Amp running in their motor, and using it to monitor knock? I've got one in my Supra and I just can't get the blighter to self-calibrate. All I get is "error", fantastically useful. HKS, teh intarwebnet, and my usual haunts are all proving futile in trying to work out what "error" is getting at
I've verified the wiring with some spanish Supra owner and the config I supplied him with made his work, sigh, so I'm pretty sure that's OK too. It's either a duff unit, a duff knock sensor on my car, or I've made some schoolboy error somewhere. Can anyone assist with a unit that I can swap notes with...?
