replacing injectors

Post by Nik »

Excuse my stupidity, but, if I were to replace my injectors with bigger ones, would I need to get a Power FC or something similar to adjust the map or would they just inject the right amount of fuel in automatically?

May be a daft question but I don't know so I had to ask. :)

If I need to put a Power FC on I will have to replace the standard injectors as I don't have the money at the mo.

Thanks in advance

Nik

Yes Nik, you will have to replace the ECU, as I was faced with this same issue a while back. I had hoped that my piggybacked factory ECU would cope, but alas no......so that's both of us saving then

Looks like it :D. I will have to replace them with standard injectors for now though, and maybe look at the upgrade after Xmas. :(

Thanks for that Stu. :)
