First off Gary, who looks after your car? Normally my first port of call is the tuner/garage as they'll know the most about my specific application. Beyond that, I would suggest talking to someone like Essex Turbochargers at Witham.

why not get a modified standard turbo. like a bored out compressor housing with a custom compressor and clipped exhaust wheel? I know they can be done.
modified T28 turbos of this nature can flow around 39+ lb/minute. which can make way more power than your standard gearbox can handle and the best part about using the T28 is it bolts right back up.
just my thoughts.

BOOSTAHOLIC ;-)
Why not call AET turbo's up or turbo techniks. You can discuss the spec of the turbo you require. It will work out cheaper as well providing your manifold is good enough and is the correct size and shape to support the new frame.

It depends what your plans are for the engine and what sort of power you're looking for.
Something like a Garrett GT2871R works really well on the SR20DET and should give almost 400hp with minimal lag. It should also be pretty close to being straight bolt on. Or for slightly less power (up to 350hp) the Garrett GT28RS would be a good choice.

Yep,
Bens on the money as usual,
Options I have seen figures for are......
My turbo is a modded T28 which currently puts out 325bhp/350lbft with a faulty actuator
on a standard SR20. This should rise to about 370bhp/370lbft once the actuators sorted at around 1.5bar.
I have seen HKS GT2835 give 380bhp @ just over a bar of boost on a Pulsar which spooled like a biatch too !!! Could be shed loads more but the owner is building a gearbox at the moment that will put up with it !!!
HKS 3071r can give 500bhp+ too !!!
These all have similar Garrett cheaper equivalents.
