hi. be gentle.

my last car was a mitsubishi galant V6 estate.

i found the auto thirsty so started looking for something...different. lol

i forgot they made a turbo'd 600 and have liked the shape and knew most of the car was made by honda.

i needed 4 dorrs as i have 4 kids!!

i found a website that helped me to upgrade several bits over the summer. the basic spec goes like this...

K&N air filter
manual boost valve
splitfire plugs
nissan pulsar spec garrett GT28R ball bearing turbo
30mm lowering springs
goodridge braided hoses front and rear
black diamond front mutli-grooved discs
pagid "fast road" pads
mintex rear discs and pads
decat
new clutch
reinforced gearbox with latest type "B" torssen LSD
savage twin tip back box
TSW reflex 18" alloys with yokohama tyres

ICE

JVC AVX-1 cd/mp3/dvd player
2X9" tft screens in leather headrests
JBL gt series 6X9's
2X12" subs in sealed twin box ( 1 rated at 900watts peak and 1 rated at 1000watts peak )
4 channel amp

stats...

0-60 7.31 secs ( with boot full of kids stuff and cold tyres )
top speed ( indicated 160mph )
1/4 mile 16.5 secs ( clutch slip all the way baby!! ) should see low 14's maybe high 13's?
225.3 bhp
233.7 ft/lbs of torque @ 12.5 psi ( i had a faulty lambda sensor on the dyno too!! )

no other plans as yet because i want to get a skyline or pulsar or evo next year so the money has been stopped on this car for now!!

Looked very good at Snett and raised a few eyebrows when the old rover refused to disappear from peoples rear view mirrors 8) 8)

I was sure you had an external wastegate because of the noise up the pit straight until you told me about the dumpvalve.....sounded sweet :-D
