Just wondered what others were going to be doing to their cars over winter in prep for next year's activities?
me..
1 - brakes need some more work now that power/speed increased... probably some of Alyn's finest DBA discs
2 - Fuelling with pump, FPR and injectors
3 - possibly a couple of cosmetic blingy bits

Mine start this afternoon......
1) Charge temp gauge
2) Knock link
3) AP 6 Pot 330mm brakes
But by the time i have finished chatting to Zak, i think a few other bits may creep on.... not so much about more power, just keeping reliability.

I've managed to kill the SX so it looks like time for a new engine transplant.
Bored with the CA now so I'm thinking of something a little different.....
looking into a 1ZU-FE possibly with a nice M90 supercharger :-D :-D

Quite alot, probably the biggest job I have is rebuilding my tired old shocks, its a bit of a mission to find the seals now.
There is a list of minor jobs as long as my arm to get sorted by January, I'll keep posting the pics up in the project thread as and when.

Putting my engine in ( build pictures here:
http://www.angel-works.co.uk/articles/sr20det.php )
Getting the GT30R + wastegate connected to some sort of exhaust system.
Developing the VEMS installation for engine management.
The head work is being started this weekend, we're going to +1mm valves and custom bronze-alloy seats, properly gas-flowed (we'll be publishing before and after flow figures) then a pair of custom ground cams to suit the engine.
If all that gets done this winter I'll be, quite frankly, amazed! Its only taken a 16months to get this far:-D

Well my work started three weeks ago when the engine was ripped out. It has rattled slightly for a year and we just didn't know what it was, but it started to get a bit worse and I decided on a rebuild before any damage was done.
So:
Forged pistons
Balanced crank etc.
Greddy plenum
Q45 Throttle body
Custom inlet pipework
Screamer pipe plumbed back into exhaust
Custom baffled and extended sump
Lots of polishing in the engine bay 8)
