Loving the avatar - will watch this project through the coming months with baited breath. Always nice to have a few suprise cars
Are the plans for drag only or will it venture onto the track?

Blimey not the typical choice for a modded car!
Echo Duncan, what do you plan to do with it when finished?

I've had two of these and they're great. Probably the fastest car I've driven that is like a stealth bomber~ immune to any police or adverse attention at all. One of mine was an estate so it was practical as well.
In terms of weight saving, if you want it as a road car, I wouldn't bother. Most of the weight saving seems to be on integrated safety systems. It's so easy to get these up to 300bhp and matching torque you're better off going for 'velvet glove, iron fist' ethos.

Thanks for the great comments guys,i will defo be bringing her to a track day once shes finished.
As far as weight saving goes it will only be the bonnet and boot lid, going to try and get a mould done of them and make them my self, then its just drop her around 30mm maybe bigger alloys, front bumper from a t5r with the bottem lip,de-cat,front strut brace then to a rolling road to tune and turn boost up and see if the fueling is ok,think they can take around 1.2 bar boost so not to bad, they run around 0.6 bar standard.
