and if i ever get any time to finish her, this should keep peeps guessing
started life as a 2.5 4cam N/A auto with climate, leather, etc...............currently undergoing 2.5 single turbo conversion, GEMS stand alone ECU, manual conversion, need to sort final spec for brakes, wheels, etc...........

You need an RB26 in there Alyn. Now that would catch them out :thumb:
What are your plans for use with the cars? I remember seeing one of these on a Kiwi dvd, a guy was absolutely hooning around Pukokowe, it sounded awesome.

i generally use leggy estates as i often carry engines, boxes, etc. and still want something that will cruise at legal'ish speeds easily...........for getting home late at night...............
also get used as 'chase' cars occassionally loaded with crew and kit for rally cars
the 'sleeper' was supposed to be a sort of advert as we do lots of (mainly) Subaru engines, etc. and always get the "so your car must be feckin' quick" off the more 'disadvantaged' evo/impreza owners!!
and also cos i like playing with peoples heads........... :-D

engine spec finished should be;
td05/06 20g, parallel fuel rails, ported manifold & magnex up-pipe, full s/steel system, GEMS (mapped in house), balanced crank/rods, mild bore & forged pistons, breather mods, charge cooler (to retain the sleeper look)
not convinced/bothered of the outright power, but aim is to have a torque monster / hence the smaller manifold, etc. to inprove spool and pick-up........
previously sorted a couple of customers cars in a similiar way and have made around 400-430lbs/ft of torque!! yee hah!!

just re-read your post and did you mean was i going to 'track' any of them? they basically get used as "fast vans" even though i also have two available for events, etc.............
probs not as i have access to the impreza rally car for any competition/track work and is currently under-going discussion for some mods to adapt to a better race spec...........
and to be honest, although i enjoy the car T/days - there's nothing like the buzz of 2wheels and will be planning a lot more next year time/funds permitting..................
this is THE track tool...............

Yeah I knew about your bike etc, just thought it may make an amazing 'sleeper' for the odd run out. I remember a well known Volvo 340gl that used to do the rounds on the track days. The owner had fully seam welded it, lightened as far as possible and dropped a tuned T5 lump in :lol: Sorry for the off topic, but felt the example may encourage you, if only the once
