Unfortunatley I'm going to have to give this day a miss. Its also likely the golf won't be at many trackdays next year.
However it won't be that far from the track, just involved in a different type of action.
(If all comes off!)

MKII Golf Racing series run by the 750MC
I've got make one or two changes to the car (mostly putting some bits back on it!) and take the licence test.
I've managed to find a willing sponsor but its unlikely that I will do all the rounds of the series.
Having just stated that I wouldn't do any trackdays the 28th of Feb is looking quite tempting for a shakedown after the rebuild

YES PG! I HAVE THE CD IN MY HAND :)

Well it didn't take long to come across a problem:
5.5: BODYWORK
1 Must be of the original type and specification for the vehicle, with no additions or ommisions.

Unfortunately I've taken some material away from the C-Pillars and from the spare wheel well.
I've sent some pictures to the organisers and I'm just waiting to hear if I need to start sourcing a new 3-door shell!
