Here's some pics of the PC I've installed in my GTO.
It's 98% there just got to get a DVD drive and 4 channel amp. It has XP,Sat Nav, TMO Mitsubishi Datalogging sotware, and other usual PC bits.

That is blumming ace, so it's basically a PC in the boot with extended peripheral leads?.

Looks excellent.

Thanks Ben. I've just got to suss out and load the Road Runner software which is basically designed for car pc's . It gives you bigger icons, I suppose is the best way to describe it, so that you can use your finger to select the different options instead of a small plastic pen. Also I'm just waiting on a M1 ATX psu which will switch the pc to hibernate when the ignition is turned off and reboots when the ignition is switched on so you don't have to go through all the start up and shut down sequence. It also has an output for the remote on the amp so that you don't get the speaker thump when you turn the pc on and off. I also have run in a couple of ps2 leads so that i can attach a keyboard and optical mouse as well if need be.

Cheers I'm really pleased with the way it's turned out.
The screen is a 7" touchscreen designed for mounting in a headrest (it fitted spot on in the dash with a little bit of trimming on the surround with a jigsaw) and is fitted in such a way that it is a real pig to remove. Also I'm relying on the car alarm system as well. I did have it so that I could remove it whilst testing it but once it's fastened in place it doesn't come out very easily.

Great job Dave, thats a really nice fit in the dash.

I have a similar setup in mine running thru a laptop to the the indash touch screen. Again I have Sat Nav, MP3, Ecutek Delta Dash etc running thru it.
