Some of you know me and some of you dont me,, but very soon iam sure you will all see the project iam working on at the moment.. My Toyota Celica ST205 GTFour, Its a 1995 JDM import model and i have owned it for the past 2 years,, on its last runs out and about its was running 330bhp and running a steady 13.290 1/4 miles at Santa Pod. This year i have decided to totally strip it and rebuild virtually the whole car. The engine is away at the moment have a forged rebuild and should be back with me ready for refitting in about 2 weeks time,, as for the rest of the car its been hiding away out the back of norfolk being worked on in my spare time,, all the suspension has been replaced with new TRD shocks n springs, whiteline anti rollbars, poly bushes pretty much all round, all of the subframe sections have been stripped shotblasted and recoated, the whole of the undershell has been re-undersealed and the engine bay has recently been resprayed in the last week, the bumpers bodypanels arrived back today from the body shop and will be refitted after the engine is back in,, my engine specs and upgrades will be released when the car is running back on the road,, iam having a new turbo especially made for this project suited for the engine itself.. the engine is being built locally by a good friend of mine and a highly skilled engine builder, the engine build is the only work iam not doing to the car,, everything else is being done by myself....

Its getting there and if the weather holds up wont be long before shes rolling
With the mods and upgrades carried out, iam hoping she will be putting out a shade over 600bhp, bearing mind these cars were never designed for this kind of power,, the rally spec vehicles were never allowed to run any higher than 305bhp, so i think i will be doing well with this and should be capable of really low 11s 1/4s, iam mainly building this car for a lot of circuit use and track days.
Will be running with a Full Motec M4 setup and all the usual toys,, water injection upgraded injectors, fuel pumps, fpr, cold air systems, front mount intercooler, the list goes on and on and my wallet empier and emptier,, and hoping it will all be worth it..........
and when shes all run in and running 100% i may introduce a little NOS to it all,,,,, i will hit the 10s with this thing if it kills me....

more to follow,, watch this space thanx 8)

I've had the pleasure of seeing a lot of the work on this and have had a good look around it (whilst Dave wasn't looking :) ) As Dunk says the attention to detail is unreal. It will be like a new car when Dave's done.

Roll on the Ring!!

well after spending loads on getting all the body panels sprayed and looking mint,, what do i go and do this afternoon,,, Drop the bloody nose cone on the floor giving it the worn look before i have even put it on the car,,, shouldnt be too much of a problem though as the car has to go into the spray booth for the bonnet and front lip to be done,, so will get my man to touch the damage in,,, still a pain though,,, clumsy old me.... :x :x

Doh -- double doh .. almost as bad as checking your oil - whilst wearing white linen trousers (because you're on your way to a posh doo - not coz i'm gay) and then noticing that you've leaned on the dirtest part of the car.
