I won't comment about the blue pipe, but I will comment about you using the word 'comfy' on a high performance car forum already brimming with purpose and horsepower.

The car looks great, personally I can't wait to see the vented bonnet (please tell me its a Scoot one) and the Volk rims won't hurt it either. I know a little of the effort that has gone into this so very well done.

Cheers for that mate, have been scared when the quotes for labour has come in so given everything (bar the injectors - which I could do now!) a go. Not to the same degree as Scott (sdminus) has though !!!

3 weeks ago the interior looked like this:

Scoot ones are the only bonnet I would consider, they look awesome and dont spoil the lines of the Rex.

Cheers Scott,

I need to go and see Brian for the remap, gonna do that in sept.

Feels like its running very rich at the moment, especially when idling.

Plus at high revs as Ben and Alex said it flamed the other evening...lol

Gutted I missed the flames on the way back.... or was that cause I was too far infront of ya...

I couldn't beleive the flames .. really cool !!! ....

One thing about this car that can't be explained is the amazingly viscous sound it let's rip when accelerating ... Gareth has never heard it from the outside -- when he's does I reckon he'll be amazed - so that's on offer of me ragging your car so you can appreciate the symphonic effects ... :)

I think the flames are due to the 850cc primaries and the deceleration settings.

If it flames a lot then check the black bumper bottom section. I will start to droop a bit. If it flames a lot it will melt the rear light.
when i lift from a hard run at nite the road lights up behind me.
