My old tracktoy Sierra has been a very reliable old horse and so after many years of loyal service, I thought I'd leave her be now and let her drift into retirement. *Did you like that, '
Drift into retirement'
Anyway, The car will be reworked over the autumn months to make it more of a laugh for trackdays with the added bonus of reverting to rear wheel drive, hence driftable. I'll add some concrete details as and when I have them but suffice to say I'll be leaving the NA lump alone. Suspension mods, gearbox, prop and sump will be changed and a new coat of spray can black paint.......tasty.

Is that an easy job to convert it to rear wheel drive?

Depends if you want to do it properly and it depends how good you are with spanners. The answers to those two are 'not really' and 'complete crap'. Based on that they job will be farmed out to someone and then I have the joy of paying for it. At least Ford tax is a lot lower than Skyline tax :-D
Ingredients
RWD gearbox such as a XR4i
XR4i sump
XR4i prop
Granada steering rack for much more steering lock
et Voila. Simmer for two or three practise sessions and then let rip with the right foot.
