I've been fortunate enough to beat quite a few people to get a promotion at work. The downside is a move further afield, and hence something a little cheaper to run than a mapped Cupra beckoned. I wanted to try and keep four doors, and RWD if possible so that when I lose control of the car I can call it drifting as long as I don't bin it :)
Any, there are nt many semi-decent drivers cars that fit that bill, unless you're willing to go back down the route of increased running costs.
There was a very limited run of the E36 four door shell, with all M Tec running gear, along with the M44 1.9 16v engine from the E36 318is Coupe. Most saloons either come with a 1.8 8v, or the more regular 6 cylinder engines.
They are rare as I say, and because of how many were registered during the single year they were made, "howmanyleft" is nt that reliable. BMWOC reckons there are about 50 odd on the road.

Well by pure fluke I found one with a desperate seller on the 'bay, who was willing to sell it quickly at

Cheers mate, as discussed that is a big "yes please".
I'll compile a shopping list and list of jobs, and enjoy this wee car I think.

Rob, if Stu does nt want them, I'd be interested in the front indicators if orange, the airbox, the wheel brace, the tool kit, the headlamps, and in the unlikely event the gear knob and handbrake handle cover are still in good condition, them too please ;)

Please let me know as I am trying to source these. Cheers mate.
Can't see Stuart wanting these somehow.

Thanks Rob
