Porsche 996 Turbo

Post by Bealo »

Hi All

Been some time since i've posted as i've not had a car since i sold the CSL but i treated myself to a 996 Turbo at Christmas with the intentions to making it a quick street/track car.

The car is at NineExcellance as we speak and the conversion will be completed by the beginning of August when i arrive back in the UK.

I am going for their 9E 25 conversion. The 25 stands for the time it takes to get to 300kph.

I am getting an uprated fuel system which should make 300kph in 23 sec.

The 9E25 has been timed at

0-60mph - 3.0sec
0-100mph - 6.5sec
60mph -130mph - 7.0sec
Top speed gps verified - 345kph/214mph

I am planning to do as many track days as possible whilst i'm in UK and most probs will be at Snetterton on 21st August

Here are a couple of youtube clips of a 9E25 converted car

I update this thread will build pictures as i receive them from NineExcellence.

Let me know what you think.

Jesus Christ almighty! 214mph........that 211mph looked so easy too.

It will be nice to see you back in the UK, and nice to see this project develop too. 700hp in a 911 will be something really special.

And i though doing a 400hp rebuild on my chevy would be good , 0-100 in 6.5 and 214 mph thats proper fast . Look forward to seeing that on a track . Pete:Chevy_anim:
