I have 3 projects on the go at the moment and as i have just learned how to work the photobucket i thought i should get some pictures on.

this is a 1960 ford prefect , proper old school , it was going to be a drag race with a 6 litre v8 but i changed my mind and iam going with a lighter rover v8 and 5 speed manual . I stuck with the hefty box section chassis and ford 9 inch axle but changed the old Cortina wish bone front suspension to the mk1 Escort struts with coilovers . Iam doing the pedals at the moment so i can work out where the clutch and brake master cylinders go.Yes i know my garage is a shithole , cleaning it up is my next project. Pete:Chevy_anim:

Project number 2 is a 1995 WRX that i got from one of my boys as he found it cost alot to run . Its rust free and apart from the stainless exhaust and turbo timer pretty much standard . Its a jap import and came with a TD5 turbo as standard ? iam told its good thing to have . I have got to get a new front screen and an exhaust gasket so it can be motd , miner stuff compared to the Prefect.Pete:Chevy_anim:

Love the old skool ford, especially with a V8.
Saw a Rover engined Stag at Motorvation today and they sound soooooo good.
Like the Scoob too, that'll get some love on here at the moment.
Nice one!

Shame he had to give up on the Subaru; I remember his face when he first bought that! (Big grins) The Ford Pop looks like that will be a great laugh when it's done. With these two and the Camaro, you must be very busy indeed!

The Camaro , well its got knackered front wheel bearings which i think were trashed at Snetterton so i,ve got some new ones on order which should be here this week . I have chucked a new dizzy because nothing worked on it even with a new coil an module , just no spark so i have gone back to the old points one with a magnetic trigger replacing the points and it starts first time now . That will teach me not to buy cheap Chinese crap. Pete:Chevy_anim:

I like the old rover v8 , fitted one in a Sierra once with some straight through silencers i made and it sounded great , its also i light engine and easier to move about than the cast iron chevy lump. Pete:Chevy_anim:

Yes is a shame but at 21 his insurance was scary plus he said putting 60 pound in the tank every weekend was too much ,then theres the finance on it so i think he was relived in the end to get rid of it . Busy yes i can always find something to do at weekends . Pete:Chevy_anim:

Got the wheel bearings for the Camaro today and fitted them , the old ones were so bad its no wonder i was getting vibration through the steering wheel . I knew it was time to do them but i was staggered at how quickly they had deteriorated . Pete:Chevy_anim:

I didnt think its possible to have a more crap strewn pit than my garage and i would have more time on the cars if i wasnt spending it looking for stuff . I dont worry about oiks trying to nick things because if i cant find anything in it iam bloody sure they wont . Pete:Chevy_anim:
