I was off roading the other week and someone commented on my BP sticker, knew all about the site/club etc. I was impressed that word had spread to the off roading community so thought I'd post a few pics of the off roader in case anyone on here is remotely interested in these types of motor....

Unfortunately I can't find any pics of the BP sticker itself but this will be rectified.

I will also, Finally, put some info up on the zed - should have done it while the work was being carried out as a project thread but ho hum...

Anyway, here are some landy pics

If the links don't work then advice please - I thought photobucket was the way on here????

Brief spec (although this has been built over so many years it would be far too boring to list it all).

91 Discovery Tdi
Bobtailed, ally tank in truck bed, custom rear bumper
Custom Cage
Snorkel
3 inch front, 2 inch rear lift with turrets, disclocators etc
Safari Snorkel
Detroit Rear Locky diff
Mach 5 rims
Insa Turbo Tyres
Cheviout winch Bumper
Superwinch EP9, cab controls, split charge etc etc

I could go on as with any other project but it's not really BP so I'll leave it there.... next post will be the Zed which should be more up everyones street :)

Pics updated mate, on photobucket there is a link in the left corner saying 'IMG code'. If you copy that it will work fine.

Great pics though and an interesting project.

Not modified to the extent of yours (just 3 inch lift and larger wheels) but it's great to get on the rough and drive off road :smash: all in all your Discovery is just top notch

hope we have some more join the site.

Daniel, the Pajero looks great mate, and having owned a few of those I bet it breaks a little less regularly than the disco :(

Stu, what can I say? You taught me everything I know ;o)

Cheers, yes it's very reliable :D only things whe had to do was adjust the wheel wobble and change the oil :) but even so, if we could we'd still have a defender/discovery for extreme offroading

Yeah they love a bit wading, although my keenness to see how deep it will go has now rotted the floor so it's in having a new one welded in :o(
