well ive had the car for a while now, so time for a thread...

well here is how she started. paid not much for her off ebay. absolutely fantastic bodywork, but
engine truly cream crackered.

she had a 2 litre 6 pot in her, with no compression in 2 of the cylinders.
and them god awful e60 wheels ! (set of 4 with practically brand new firestones on for offers )

first job was find a donor...

and engine fitted to the car after old one ripped out.

also fitted the suspension legs, arb's, prob, gbox, and lsd off the donor,
but no photos so far.

spent the last few weeks sorting (unsuccesfully so far) a few wiring issues, including setting fire to the fuse box (oops!) and the ecu, which was already faulty.

the plan is to run a stand alone ignition system, and a nice shiny set of tuned bike carbs. as and when funds allow.

oh and a pic with the proper wheels on

an update...
after much deliberation and alot of pursuading...

the e28 got taken away :seeya: :( the many issues that i encountered with wiring, and finding spares for the old girl just meant the car was never going to be finished. heartbroken i was but shes off to a better place for someone who knows what to do with wires!

i put the ad on ebay starting at
