Here's a picture to start with..

Luckily as some of you may know i bought this car off my boss and it was his second DC2 owned from new and has had no expense spared on her since day one and i will continue to do the same.
The overall aim is to have a fast road/track set up that is both comfortable and useful for my 40mile daily round trip to work but can also be unleashed on the circuit should i want to

Atethe moment the car is totally standard apart from the HID kit i fitted a while back but after alot of research on American/Australian and UK forums and conversations with wise people, (the big Stu being one of them) my initial modifications list has completely changed for the better.
Ive just recently had a full service, so oil and fluids are all spot on and on monday evening coming i will have her up on the ramp at work to be waxoyled and checked over.
The next parts to be fitted that i already have will be:
A subtle mongoose exhaust system, de-cat and a comptech (ceramic) 4-2-1 manifold off a chap who races in the nippon challenge and has used them for 3 races before pulling out. I had almost finalised a purchase on a mugen twin loop, but countless noise problems with the system put me off.
Set of Skunk2 lowering springs, might possibly sell these on again and get some D2 coilovers, not sure yet, might try one track outing on these and see how they feel.
Brake master cylinder stopper & some lightweight wheel nuts (thanks to Stu for getting them from Japshow today for me

Wheels :- Honda made it with 15" wheels for a reason, so i dont intend to ruin the handling by bunging 18" obscenities on it. I already have the wheels, the stock ones, and all i intend to do is get them re-painted black with a red lip, like the rota time attack wheels. (See example below of UK DC2 alloys with the said paint scheme) Saves valuble money that can be spent elsewhere on more useful items but i think will look great.

Shopping List So Far:
Mugen/Spoon Panel Filter (Going to leave the OEM induction box as is)
Solid Shifter Bushings
Hard Race Bushes
New engine mounts
Braided brake lines
Whiteline ARB's
New Thicker Cored Radiator
Set of Brembo disks and a decent street/track set of pads
Oil cooler fitting kit (have the cooler thanks to AdrianP:hurray:)
Oil pressure & temp gauges (Not the standard gauges but a digital display that replaces the clock on the dashboard so it doesnt look messy)
Fit some multipoint harnesses
On a final note, ive never owned a car that i have had such enjoyment from as it stands.. Hopefully with these subtle tweeks it can only improve, and when my level of driving does it should be quite a track car!!
