This is a bit off he wall but hey:willy_nilly:
myself and matt (mattie170 on here) and a couple of friends have brought a 200hp missile
the bhp doesnt sound to impressive but when you see what its connected to you should be able to understand;)
Its a 18ft Fletcher Arrowsport Speedboat with a 200hp Yamaha ProV Race engine bolted to the back!
The thing will do about 65mph on the water! which if you know anything about water craft is bloody fast!!
basically we use the boat for hooning around and for water sports
we have purchased a couple of ringos - which are awesome fun, see the pics
stuart you're not getting out of it, get yourself down sea palling on the 15th and we'll bung you on the ringo

Tan and I will be there, I can assure you. This looks like a great way to break a few bones, so I'm in
I'm looking forwards to seeing what 30mph is like when I'm hanging on to a lilo

Learn to barefoot and it's even more fun again until you hit a piece of flotsom.
Waterskiing is great fun and that boat looks perfect for that. I learned on flat calm lake in North Wales...that water looks a bit choppy and cold but i'm sure you'll be warm enough in a shorty
Nice craft!!

haha...we think the name is funny - however realise that boats are supposed to be named after girls, so maybe we should call i janet??
in terms of water skiing and wake boarding we will learn how to do it in time - the pics are on braydon water which is fairly calm actually - alot calmer then sea palling:smilielol5:
the previous owner was very good at bare foot - it looks bloody hard though
the engine is what made us buy it to be honest - the accelaration is mad:D
these craft are supposed to come fitted with a 60hp or maybe an 80 - the moment we saw this 200hp one our mind was made up
the previous owner told us;
'There is no such thing as having too much power in a speed boat - as long as it floats you're laughing.':reddevil:
also the looks we get pulling up on the slip way at sea palling are hilarious
are there any skiing or speedboat enthusiasts on the board???

ill bring the wakeboard along and give you a few lessons, not as good as those in the video above though!
Awesome boat, cant wait to go on it once the 2cv weekend is over.

I am now selling my 17ft ski boat

, but its only got a Yamaha 80hp goes about 45mph though..great fun but I just done have the time to use it any more....great fun at Sea Palling
Looks like you will have fun with a 200hp on the back of that, crikey we used to run them on the back of offshore rescue ribs, not an 18ft speed boat
And if you rearly want some fun, when we used to race at Oulton Broad we used to run our 90hp Mercury on funny fuel and it increased it up to 115 hp...now that was fun.

hey nice looking boat mate...how much you got it up for?
and you are spot on...i think the engine has come off a rescue rib...lol
dont think we need anymore power it may take off - we have been told that the Pro V engine uses 250hp power block and actually has over 200hp and more torque then the non Pro V engine
