bmw m3 track project

Post by Mr Fletcher »

Having decided the 325 will stay virtually as it is now i found this on ebay, M3 four door shell, this is in very good order .

This will enable me to prep a shell from the ground up . Stripped it out today just need to remove the fuel tank and it's bare.

This will be done as and when funds and time allow ( or i sell it with just a cage fitted ) as i have no rush to get it done .

cheers

Christ, you could have some fun with that :)

Will you be going down the same road with a Custom Cages version again or designing your own one?

(3 e36's in one family.......... that's getting greedy :D )

probably the same custom cages core kit again but i will not be building a tank this time i will set myself a weight limit and design it around that utilising smaller tubing where i can .

If its to the standard of the 2,5 it will be spot on.
eBay has a lot to answer for.
Get those rear doors welded up while your at it.

there are some strenghtening plates around the rear subframe area and some under bonnet brackets are different , also on the later ones they had some turret strenghtening which this one just missed out on .
