Im finally brave enough to post a pic of the new project... :?

I finally sold the skyline, a very sad affair, 5 years of evolution is hard to let go of, but onwards and upwards, newer and better things..!

RIGHT!!!

This...

...is the new project.

Ok, with a 1.2 ohc, its not quite the animal to drive that im used to but ive convinced myself that this could be very rapid.

Please bear with me, im not mad.

Well maybe a little... :-D

Here is a little hint as to where this is going...
Image
...gotta love eBay

Since I sold the skyline ive built up a pile of bits and pieces ready to turn this into a pure track toy. Its light (and thats an understatement) and they do handle reasonably well on a smooth surface and the bits are SO much cheaper than for my previous heavier jap cars. Ive bought suspension, brakes, bushes, wheels and tyres, for less than it cost to put a decent set of tyres on the skyline...

Hopefully it will turn out to be a very capable track car, and hopefully it will be allowed to bear the BIGPOWER banner some day...?

Fit a courtney turbo and that thing will become a super nova creating black holes where ever it goes

Good luck with the project.

I thought the saloons only came in brown? :D

Good luck with the project.

I can remember being left for dead by a Nova on the A1 when my scoob was around 300 bhp!

Much fun :D

A bit different from the GTR Jonny.
As you say, you can get these things to be very quick with a redtop and a turbo. Your challenge will be getting it to handle.
I know a guy who plays with these and has a 260bhp SR hatch. If you need any help, give me a shout and i will put you in touch with him. If you go the turbo route, me and this guy do a couple of front mount kits.
